About the Author: Dr. Abha Agrawal is the Chief Medical Information Officer at Central Brooklyn Family Health Network and an Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Informatics at the State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in medical informatics at Yale University, awarded by the National Library of Medicine. Her work focuses on application of information technology to improve healthcare quality and patient safety.
