MEET THE AUTHOR

Kathy Duffy, PhD, MSc, PG Dip Ed, BA, RNT, RN, is Senior Lecturer (continuing care) on the Pre-registration Adult Division at the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Community Health, Glasgow Caledonian University. She has extensive teaching experience, for example, developing new modules/pathways, teaching on pre- and post-registration courses, mentoring, developing curriculum pathways, co-ordinating modules and contributing to teacher-training courses. She is involved in research activities, has written articles in various refereed journals and has presented papers at a large number of conferences.
