MEET THE AUTHOR

Jeff J. Guo, PhD, is Associate Professor of Pharmacoeconomics at the U. of Cincinnati (UC) College of Pharmacy, and Research Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Health at the UC Medical Center. He has worked as senior pharmacy systems engineer at Pharmacopeia in Rockville, MD; as research manager of pharmacoepidemiology & pharmacoeconomics at the Degge Group, in Arlington, VA; and as a government official at the China National Drug Administration and the China National Economic & Planning Commission. He is a founder of the Int. Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) Asian Consortium Advisory Committee, and has experience with Ohio and Alabama state Medicaid drug utilization review and health policy research, US Pharmacopeia drug information, the national medication error report system MedMARx®, and contract research at major pharmaceutical companies.


Christina M.L. Kelton, PhD, is Professor of Economics in the College of Business at the U. of Cincinnati (UC) and Research Associate at the Economics Center for Education & Research at UC. In her career as an academic economist, she held a post-doctoral appointment at the University of Wisconsin, and she subsequently taught at Case Western Reserve University, Wayne State University, the University of Minnesota, and the Pennsylvania State University. In her role as Research Associate for the Economics Center, she works on contract research projects primarily for regional clients, including the Greater Cincinnati Health Council and the Cincinnati Health Network.
