For the non-"experts" to have tables of management strategies for motor and non-motor complications provides a useful point of reference when grappling with these issues... This book was very easy to read and equally simple to dip in and out of ... it certainly lived up to its title of "Fast Facts". I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in PD as it provides a good overview but also with a surprising amount of depth at times. I am doing my nursing at university at present and found this book very useful to fulfil the criteria for one of my assignments. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking after someone with Parkinson's disease. This book aims to provide an easy guide for doctors who are not necessarily specialists in neurology for managing the motor and non-motor symptoms of the disease ... [It] is certainly good value. In a world of limited time, it can be read quickly and carried in your pocket to read when you have a spare moment. As someone diagnosed with Parkinson just two years ago, the book gives a clear picture of how my condition could develop and issues that may arise. For healthcare professionals, I imagine this would be an excellent, up-todate resource. For people with Parkinson’s, it’s a useful, if challenging, addition to the books already available.
